Brian Baumgartner: i was very good at the spider solitaire, but i have given it up.
marskye: I like addiction solitaire
Brian Baumgartner: i dont really play any computer games at my desk anymore … but I still play Madden Football with John at lunch

Brian Baumgartner: a lot of times

saraadx3: Hey Brian, thanks for joining us (: how do you like the fifth season of the office so far?
marskye: haha
bundyblueboy: I love that line!
Brian Baumgartner: the scripts have been great, amy was fantastic. a bunch of the current storylines are coming to a head … christmas episode was great, again. and there are several episodes that follow christmas that are as good as any episodes we have ever shot
Brian Baumgartner: so i have been pleased with the year so far

kreidy: You have a lot of new writers this season. Has that changed the dynamic on the show?
sar20: ah that’s exciting
Brian Baumgartner: i don’t know if any dynamic has really changed, but Paul and Jenn Celotta have taken more leadership roles, and Greg has had the other project to work on
Brian Baumgartner: so … there is just a lot going on

bundyblueboy: Brian, will there be any more one hour episodes?
Brian Baumgartner: and not to mention we are shooting 18 episodes before our holiday break …
tanster: jam-packed shooting schedule
Brian Baumgartner: so … i would just say, we have had a BUSY fall, and everyone is catching up as quick as they can
kreidy: I bet. There seems to be a lot going on
Brian Baumgartner: bundyblueboy- there will be more hour episodes

twirlinggrace: when do you break?
Brian Baumgartner: at least 2 more, i believe
Brian Baumgartner: we go on holiday break in very late december, the 2oth or something

zLong: Hey there Brian, is there any chance of Scrantoncity II making another appeaance sometime this season?
Brian Baumgartner: zLong … yes there is. No more on that at the moment … haha
tanster: oooh. intriguing!
kreidy: Yay for that!

bb2904: brian, do you have any information on next year’s office convention?
Brian Baumgartner: i hear next fall, around the time of our season premiere … which is a date that itself is not announced yet
Brian Baumgartner: i would guess they are aiming at late september
Brian Baumgartner: but that is un- official

  7. Man, I saw that he was there but I don’t know how to create an account for the chat room. Every time I try to get on the chat I try to click, “create an account” or something along that lines but it never works. It won’t let me click it. I wanted to get in there so bad. Oh well.
