During our set visit on Tuesday, Angela told me she wanted to check out the OT chat room. We only had a few minutes after lunch, so we rushed over to Angela Martin’s desk and logged on. Angela did the actual typing!

hey guys it’s angela and jennie on set!!! jennie is sitting at my desk with me. we just had lunch. I just have a few minutes and then I have to go to hair and makeup. tanster says that she hasn’t fainted yet. but might at any second.

It’s late, I’m exhausted, and I have full day of work tomorrow, so I unfortunately have to make this short for now.
The Office set visit today far surpassed my wildest expectations. Kath from GMMR and I got to spend the entire day with the cast and crew, from 9am to 6pm. We watched the filming of an episode, and it was fascinating and funny.
We also got a chance to chat with: Angela Kinsey, B.J. Novak, Brian Baumgartner, Creed Bratton, Ed Helms, Gene Stupnitsky, Greg Daniels, Harold Ramis, Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski, Kate Flannery, Kent Zbornak, Lee Eisenberg, Leslie David Baker, Melora Hardin, Michael Schur, Mindy Kaling, Oscar Nunez, Paul Lieberstein, Phyllis Smith, Rainn Wilson, Randall Einhorn, Rashida Jones, and last but not least, Steve Carell.
Yes, nearly the entire cast was there! My head is still spinning.
Here are just a few tidbits …
The call sheet taped to the door reads: “Super Fans, Jennie Tan and Kathie Skerry — who operate the fan websites OfficeTally.com and GiveMeMyRemote.com will be observing, asking questions, and taking pictures with cast — Please do NOT beat or flog them like the others!” How awesome is that?
Goofing off at reception. I look sad, but I’m ecstatic. Really!

As I mentioned in my previous post, updating OT in the next few days will be a difficult task.
That’s because I WILL BE ON THE SET OF THE OFFICE!
Yes, you read that right. Yes, I am hyperventilating as I type this. Yes, I AM BEYOND EXCITED!!!
After nearly two months of politely requesting a set visit, collecting the proper letters of recommendation, and picketing NBC headquarters on the weekends, the Powers That Be have graciously agreed to let me visit the set. For the entire day!
I won’t be alone — TPTB have also allowed me to bring GMMR as a guest! Two fangirls, one set visit, let the giddy merriment commence!
I can’t promise that I will be able to update OT while I’m on set, but I will definitely post tons of good stuff (no spoilers though, sorry) from my visit once I get home. GMMR will probably have stuff posted before I do, so definitely keep both sites on your watch list!
What a surreal and wonderful experience this is going to be. :)
I don’t usually post Tallies the first of the week, but the next few days are a bit busy for me, and I’m not sure when I’ll be back …
