The Office wedding fuels prison attack

From the Sheboygan Press:

Not everyone loves Jim and Pam. The popular characters from “The Office” sitcom on NBC were finally married on Thursday’s episode, but a criminal complaint filed Monday says one Sheboygan County Jail inmate wanted to watch something else so much she attacked another inmate.

Two inmates were watching “The Office” when [Shacoya] Crawley, 18, of Oshkosh, approached them and said she wanted to watch something else. When the inmates refused to hand over the remote, Crawley pulled the hair of a 33-year-old woman and struck her in the face.

Kristin Chenoweth, here is The Office role for you

Kristin Chenoweth on The Office

When Kristin Chenoweth won the Emmy last night for best supporting actress in a comedy, from the now-canceled ‘Pushing Daisies,’ she mentioned in her must-watch acceptance speech that “I’m now unemployed … so I’d like to be on ‘Mad Men.’ I also like ‘The Office’ and ’24.'”

Then Tallyhead “Casual Monday” suggested the idea of Kristin playing Angela Martin’s estranged sister.

(In Season 3’s ‘A Benihana Christmas,’ Angela says: “I don’t back down. My sister and I used to be best friends, and we haven’t talked in 16 years. Over some disagreement I don’t even remember.”)

So there you go, Office producers. Both feisty, blonde, and tiny. Sparks would fly!

Rich Sommer talks about a JAM roadblock averted

USA Today’s Pop Candy interviewed ‘Mad Men’ star Rich Sommer, and he talks about how Pam’s relationship with her art school friend Alex (played by Sommer) could have developed last season on The Office:

… my character was supposed to be enamored of Pam. He was supposed to be a potential roadblock for Pam and Jim … The audience response to seeing Pam being even mildly flirtatious or being flirted with by some art-school guy … the Internet exploded.

What do you think? Did they make the right story decision?
