When I clicked off my TV after Thursday’s “The Office,” I heard rumbling in the stillness of night. Rumbling that sounded a lot like people throwing Dwight bobbleheads at their televisions.
But I’m here to say there is no reason to be upset, because from office, to warehouse, to Bob Vance Refrigeration, love is in the air at our favorite Scranton business park.

A new blog by Julie Elgar has launched called ‘That’s What She Said’:
Outing a gay employee, forcing a female employee to act out a lesbian love scene as part of sexual harassment training, and mass emailing romantic pictures to the entire company — such are the antics of Michael Scott, regional manager of Dunder Mifflin, the fictional paper company that serves as the setting for NBC’s hit show, The Office.
Named after Michael’s trademark punch line, That’s What She Said puts a price tag on each episode, estimating how much the politically incorrect behavior of Michael Scott and Dunder Mifflin would cost real-life companies to defend.

Other people have said that I am the [cast member] most unlike my character. I take that as a compliment, though I do really love the Kev. Not that we should study the series in a “dramaturgical” way, but if you look at it, nobody doesn’t like Kevin. He is the guy who is friendly with everyone. The Philadelphia Daily News chats with Kate Flannery about how the success of The Office has changed her life:
Not so long ago, the Philly-born actress wouldn’t quit her waitressing job until NBC picked up “The Office” for a second season.
“My boss said to me on my last day, ‘We were going to get you a cake, but you’ll be back,’ ” Flannery recalled during a recent NBC party in Pasadena, Calif., hours after learning the show had already been picked up for a fourth season.
“I’ve had a lot of almosts in my career,” she said.
