About.com talks to Jenna

SPOILER WARNING! Article and subsequent comments will contain spoilers. (It’s not too spoilery, though.)

Once again, a lengthy interview with Jenna about Blades of Glory, and once again, she says some interesting stuff about The Office:

I don’t know if Jim and Pam are ultimately meant to be together. I say this to producers all the time: ‘Sometimes that person helps you become the person that you’re supposed to be to meet the person you’re supposed to marry.’ Maybe that’s our story. And if that’s our story, that’s still a beautiful story to tell.

CHUD.com interviews Jenna Fischer about Blades of Glory, but she talks a little about The Office, too:

You had a weird break up scene on The Office this season with your boyfriend. It was very unnerving towards the end.

Yeah, with David Denman. David is one of my closer friends from the show; he and his wife and me and my husband, we hang out a lot. To see him turn like that, for me it was even more shocking because I know him as a big teddy bear. He played it so well and I think that cliffhanger of “I’m gonna kill Jim Halpert” is one of the best last lines of our episodes ever.

The Office stars’ movie projects

USA Today has a nice pair of articles (and photos) of the current movie projects starring Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, and Jenna Fischer.

An excerpt:

“We’re all happy with the opportunities we’ve been given, and we’re all doing very interesting, diverse projects,” Wilson says. “(Office producer) Greg Daniels said after The 40-Year-Old Virgin came out, ‘We’re starting the show with one movie star and we’re going to end the show with four movie stars.’ He really believes in us.” Nobody plans to leave the TV show, however. “If the movies came first, we’d all still be dying to be on The Office,” Krasinski says.

Jenna’s Season 4 tease

SPOILER WARNING! Video and subsequent comments will contain spoilers.

This video interview is primarily about Jenna’s upcoming movie, Blades of Glory, but what got me really excited was Jenna’s mention of The Office season 3 finale! She even talks a teeny little bit about Season 4! (Nothing too spoilerish is mentioned, but the expression on Jenna’s face speaks volumes.)

The Office stuff comes around two minutes into the clip.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy. New episodes can’t come soon enough.

Jenna Fischer naked in Wired Magazine

Jenna Fischer Naked Wired

The latest issue of Wired Magazine features an eye-catching graphic of Jenna Fischer naked and the article, “What We Can Learn from The Office.”

The Office Jenna Fischer Wired Magazine

Here’s what the Wired blog says about the cover:

The April cover of WIRED features a package of stories about radical transparency, our notion that the next model of business success is laying your company bare to the world—sharing secrets with your rivals, blogging about ideas as you have them, and copping to fumbles and foibles as you make them. The concept was crisp, but we all struggled with how to portray a pretty complex idea in the three-second visual byte that is the modern magazine cover. If you’re talking about transparency, the obvious metaphor is clear: you’re naked.

So of course, WIRED being WIRED, we wanted a cover that was smart and showy. And as Creative Director I wanted something that hadn’t been done before. We settled on the idea of printing on clear acetate. But it had to be interactive. Now you’re in a business suit—now you’re not.

Then we wrestled with the question of how to best show the real goings on inside the modern American office. How about using “The Office” as a model? And who would we like to see practicing what we’re preaching? Dwight? Ehhh…notsomuch. Of course, Pam. So we called NBC and pitched our idea and Jenna Fischer (thankfully!) liked the idea.

Michael Elins photographed her in Los Angeles in a dingy little studio. And yes, the whole thing is real; we shot it in two parts, Jenna in her business suit and her birthday suit (really). She was a great sport about the whole thing. Funny and endearing.

And no, I don’t have outtakes.
